AT&T Employees Claim iPhone 4G Launching In June

The folks over at BGR have been rather sparse on details, but according to them, some AT&T employees have confirmed that the iPhone 4G will be launched in June, and considering that it's slated to be unveiled in early June, that's quite a quick move from announcement to being available for purchase, certainly welcome news to iPhone-fans around the world. If they're accurate, you won't even have to suffer the agony of waiting until late June, as it'll be available before that. How's that some something to look forward to.

Leak Hints That The iPhone 4G Is Getting A 960 x 640 Display

Rumors of the upcoming iPhone 4G are kicking into a higher gear now, as the latest rumors strengthen the belief that the iPhone 4G will be getting a 960 x 640 pixel display. If the rumor is accurate, the device will not only get a higher resolution display, but will also sport a higher quality IPS (in-plane switching) panel along with FFS (fringe-field switching) technology to make it easier to read outdoors. LG Display and Prime View International have been touted as the suppliers for the new display. Further good news comes in the form that the panel will be a third thinner than previous models, which makes room for larger battery. Finally, it’s claimed that the iPhone 4G will offer 512MB of RAM, which is double of what is offered on the iPhone 3GS and iPad. With all these juicy details, are you thinking of getting the iPhone 4G?

iPhone 4G Concept Design

Here is a cool design from designer Seraphan from the Spaziocellulare forum,on what he thinks the new iPhone 4G will look like, and as you can see from the photos it features a larger screen than the current iPhone 3GS and also comes in a range of colors.

Whilst we doubt the next generation iPhone will look like this concept, I like the design, and I think there are some elements we may see in the iPhone 4G, like a larger screen.

Apple’s next generation iPhone needs to feature a new design, as we have had the current one since the launch of the 3G, and it is getting a little boring. Lets hope the new iPhone 4G looks as cool as this concept.

imicroscope app for iPhone

The iPhone has some pretty amazing apps and one of the latest apps is the imicroscope. There are numerous applications on the iPhone that will allow a person to take extremely close pictures but the imicroscope is the first application to allow a person to take pictures with a microscope.

The imicroscope gives the smart phone the ability to capture magnified objects. However, a microscope is actually needed for the objects to be captured.

The application works by aligning the iPhones camera with the microscope’s viewfinder. Once the camera is properly aligned, the person can take high quality images.

The app costs $3. It’s an ideal app for professional and amateur scientists that have a microscope and want the ability to capture images of all the little organisms that surround us. The application should be compatible with most microscopes.
