Burton Method Snowboard

Burton is a worldwide leader and manufacture of snow gear, outerwear, goggles, and practically anything else that has to do with the snow. Recently, the company has been trying to perfect the snowboard and change how individuals experience the sport of snowboarding.

The Burton Method Snowboard is like a luxury sports car for snowboarders. The Daily Mail recently described the snowboard as being the equivalent of a supercar.

The Burton Snowboard sets itself apart from other snowboards with a binding system called the ‘Infinite Channel’ system. This allows a person to attach the binding to the sides of their boots rather than underneath their feet.

By attaching to the sides of the boots, the person is closer to the board ,which causes the snowboarding experience to feel more intimate. The Infinite Channel system allows snowboarders to get in a better position and have a smoother and more enjoyable ride.

The edge of the Burton Snowboard is made from titanium alloy. Titanium alloy material is light and corrosion resistant. The core of the board is made from a special patented alloy material that is 90% air and the underside of the snowboard is coated with non-stick Teflon.

Essentially, Burton wanted to create a snowboard that was extremely light, yet still had the mobility and durability of a heavier snowboard. The price of the snowboard (which is over $2500) is a price that snowboarders should expect to spend for the high quality and luxury this snowboard offers.
