e-NUVO

The e-NUVO robot is the brainchild of the Nippon Institute of Technology, ZMP, ZNUG Design, and Harada Vehicle Design. These institutions teamed up to create a robot that could help students. The purpose of the e-NUVO was to give children a better understanding of robots. The robot also serves as a teaching aid for elementary and junior high school students.

The e-NUVO robot stands at four feet tall. The robot uses gyro sensors, cameras, and even has obstacle detection sensors so that it can interact efficiently with humans. The robot is also capable of having a conversation. The robots can be controlled either through a computer or a remote.

The designers of e-NUVO are hoping that e-NUVO will eventually be a common piece of technology used at educational institutions across Japan.
